Le Bec Hellouin is in the heart of the Eure, part of Normandy.  It lies within easy reach of Rouen and Le Havre and is only a few hours drive from the main channel ports of Calais and Boulogne.  All of the major sites of Normandy are within easy reach, including the D-Day Beaches, Mont St Michel and the famous channel ports of Deauville, Honfleur and Trouville-sur-Mer. 

With the completion of the new A28 autoroute joining Rouen and Le Mans, the region of the Loire is within easy reach for a day-trip. From Rouen, it is easy to reach Paris either by the A13 autoroute or, more practicably, by train.
